What happens when a community consistently chooses to recycle?
In 2025, we found out.
Together, Green Girl Recycling and

our customers diverted:
1,476 TONS
of recyclable material from Colorado landfills.
That is nearly 3 million pounds kept in circulation instead of buried.
And the impact goes far beyond a number.
Co-Mingled Recycling: Your Weekly Bin at Work
Your everyday recycling made a serious difference.
In 2025:
1,063,734 pounds of co-mingled containers recycled, that was 66,000 pounds more than in 2024!
That growth means more households participating.More businesses stepping up.More people choosing the right bin. It all added up ~ we are so proud of our recycling peeps!
Electronics Recycling: Keeping Toxins Out
E-waste is one of the fastest growing waste streams in the world.
In 2025, we responsibly recycled:
303,000 pounds of electronics
That represents:
Toxic materials kept out of soil and groundwater
Metals recovered instead of newly mined
Devices properly dismantled or refurbished
From laptops and towers to phones and cords, this community chose the responsible path.
Secure Paper Shredding: Security Meets Sustainability
In 2025:
645,320 pounds of paper records securely destroyed
58,000 pounds more than 2024
Businesses protected their clients.Sensitive information stayed secure. And forests stayed standing. The community brought in paper for shredding, we picked it up and hauled it and businesses who use our services continued to divert. Because of these efforts: Saving equaled:
12,724 trees !

Each approximately 35 feet tall.
That is not just a statistic. That is an entire forest still growing because this community cares.
Water Saved
Recycling also conserves water.
In 2025, our efforts saved:
5,239 gallons of water
To make that visual:That is enough to fill 10,478 six-person hot tubs.
Real conservation. Real impact.
2025 By the Numbers
1,476 total tons diverted
1,063,734 pounds co-mingled recycling
303,000 pounds electronics recycled
645,320 pounds secure shredding
12,724 trees saved

This impact spans Boulder, Larimer, and Weld Counties, including mountain communities that many haulers do not serve.
This is rural recycling done efficiently. This is community effort multiplied.
